This delightfully whimsical garden proved very popular during the 2022 Garden Festival. Over the past four years it has ‘grown up’ as Ann and Richard have adapted in response to lifestyle and the garden’s growth. They’ve removed plantings to allow more sunshine and have developed a more open area in the centre of the garden.

Six and a half years ago they moved to live permanently on the island and set about establishing new vegetable and flower gardens. They both love flowers and experimenting with new plants and claim the garden is a ‘bit of an eclectic mix’.

The garden acts as an extra room to the cottage. It gets better every year but still retains all its quirky, artistic magic!
